A hand-on-heart and sincere hello Reader, thank you for opening this. I don't take you sharing your email address lightly, and I know it’s been a ridiculously long time since I was last in touch. I'm sorry. Here's a bit of what’s been happening in the interim. (Scroll straight to the key points for the TL:DR) There was no next-step plan after Mindful Snacks. Then I wrote my Masters dissertation. And then, with hindsight, I was utterly burnt out. I don’t use the term lightly. Since then I’ve been navigating what I'm calling "a midlife reset". A crisis suggests something bad and although it doesn't feel great right now, I can see that this turbulent time is welcoming in new Good Things. But, endometriosis, peri-menopause, and an ADHD diagnosis two weeks before my 49th birthday has been a lot to work through and I’m only partway there. It does mean though that I've tried a a heap of things that I hope might be useful to many of you too. I’ve been quietly gathering ideas and making plans and they're nearly ready to share. I’m feeling excited, and also nervous about overdoing things, and a bit terrified about showing up. But I also know I've been sitting on some Good Things and I shouldn't be keeping them all to myself.
And that's it. For now 😊 I do love a chat, so if any of this has sparked a thought (or ten) feel free to email me back. I would love to hear what's proving tricky for you, where you could use some help, and what's working too! In the meantime, I’ll be sharing some more Good Things with you very soon. I hope you'll join me. With love |
PS. I've been procrastinating over this email for 3 weeks (ha! at least). Today's lesson is "done is better than perfect". And breathe. |
SIMPLE, EVIDENCE-BASED TOOLS TO MAKE EVERY DAY BETTER.
Simple, evidence-based tools to make every day better Wonderful Reader I wanted to drop by to say a very big THANK YOU for coming along for the ride this year. I'm so grateful for your support, feedback, and involvement, and I hope this is only the beginning of building something that's truly valuable for you. A year ago I couldn't see how to move forward with everything I'd learned in my Applied Positive Psychology Master's journey. I certainly couldn't begin to imagine showing up live on...

I value your time. Thank you for being here. I'd like to invite you to tap for Love Reader, I'm going to be honest here. I'm in uncharted waters. I've created a Canva slideshow. I've never presented with slides before. My kids think this is HILARIOUS. I'm reasonably confident I've cracked it. But...
Simple, evidence-based tools to make every day better Hello Reader How are you feeling? And I mean really, how are you feeling right now? I’m feeling the weight of the world. But I’ve dug deep into positive psychology, and the very practical process of tapping, and I’ve come up with something I’d love to share with you. I think it could really help. You, and those...
