Hello Reader! I hope you've had a great weekend. I've been reflecting on these last three weeks of Instagram Lives, something I never could have imagined I'd be doing. Each morning I'm sharing a short Tapping session, and it's my personal experience of Tapping that has enabled me to show up for the Lives. It's a lovely, unexpected virtuous circle and I'm so happy I've been able to share it with some of you. My plan is to continue to do these short #HappyTapping sessions every weekday morning. If you can join live I'd be thrilled to have you there, but they are all saved as Reels and you can always watch them when it's convenient for you. What is this Happy Tapping anyway?In a nutshell, this form of affirmational Tapping (or EFT, emotional freedom technique) is a simple method to reduce stress, anxiety, and pain, but tuning into our emotions and tapping on key points around our body, calming our amygdala and reducing our fight or flight response. While we can definitely get profound benefits, this is not the same as therapeutic EFT. I'm currently training to conduct 1:1 sessions to go deeper and target very specific issues. Stay tuned if that interests you. Why should I show up?Just 10 minutes can see a shift in your mood, give you an energy boost, or maybe ease some discomfort. My favourite thing is to notice how my shoulders drop as the session starts, a clear indicator that the stress is literally dropping away. Click the button below for my Instagram page.
